Are they just matter/material – cells bound together that animate and reproduce with no “spiritual” side to them. You could ask – do animals have souls?
If they don’t have a soul, then do they have freewill and any sense of morality? Souls are often posited as the root of freewill and morals. If they do have souls then where does this immortal soul go after death?
